158th Fighter Wing Makes History in Austria
Two F-35A Lightning IIs from the Vermont Air National Guard's 158th Fighter Wing and two Eurofighter Typhoons from the Austrian Air Force's Airspace Surveillance Wing, land at Hinterstoisser Air Base from the first ever training sortie between Vermont and Austria since signing their State Partnership Program agreement, Zeltweg, Austria, June 17, 2023. This was the first time American F-35s landed at, and trained with, the Austrian Air Force, as Vermont and Austria celebrated one year of their SPP relationship which began in July of 2022.
