158th Fighter Wing airmen demonstrate ACE concept in Estonia

Four U.S. Air Force F-35A Lightning II aircraft assigned to the Vermont Air National Guard’s 158th Fighter Wing depart Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany, to support the NATO Air Shielding mission alongside French, British, Estonian, and Belgium allies at Amari Air Base, Estonia, July 6, 2022. VTANG members also exercised Agile Combat Employment capabilities at Amari AB. Exercises and deployments that utilize ACE concepts ensure U.S. Air Forces in Europe are ready to protect and defend partners, allies, and U.S. interests at a moment’s notice and generate lethal combat power should deterrence fail.
